The Trakheesi Advertising Permit in Dubai
Trakheesi is an online portal managed by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) designed to improve the accuracy of online property advertisements on websites.
Permits for Property Advertisements
It is compulsory to have a marketing permit to publish any property advertisements in Dubai. This permit, called the “Trakheesi permit”, is also a requirement for property listing to go live on real estate portals, such as Bayut, Property Finder, Dubizzle and Houza.
RERA registered real estate / property brokerages in Dubai can apply for a Trakheesi permit online.
The documents required for a Trakheesi Permit include a Form A (Seller and Brokerage Agreement) obtained from DLD and therefore copies of the Title Deed and Owners’ Passport(s) and/or Emirates ID(s).
When applying for a permit, the information is validated with data from the DLD. If incorrect information is shared, the permit request will be rejected.
This permit helps prevent false and duplicate advertisements of properties for sale in Dubai and ensures all properties are advertised with the legal owner’s permission.
Trakheesi permits are necessary for advertising a property on the following mediums:
Newspaper Advertisement
Real Estate Promotional Stand
Printed Advertisement
Advertisements by SMS
Promotional Stand
Promotional Campaign
Launching Real Estate Projects
Real Estate Seminar Permit
Open Day
Advertising Boards
Classified Advertisement
Electronic Advertisement
Also accessible by the Trakheesi system is the DLD Madmoun service which allows real estate companies to put QR codes on their advertisements.
